Blah blah blah, complain, complain. Rinse and repeat.

I just read an article over at Human Events Daily concerning government overspending at the EPA.
I'm not going to go through the whole article.  If you really feel the need to get upset over more blatant,  shove-it-up-the-sheep's-collective-ass government bullshit, follow the link.
What got me really pissed off was the whiny little pissants complaining in the comments about some of the statements the author put forth concerning various expenditures.
The futile effort of armchair politicians who don't really give a flying damn about anything other than the fact that they themselves aren't in on the gravy train.
The same type that when something,  anything,  goes wrong will be crying to the government to ride in on a white horse and save their sorry asses.

I'd honestly prefer it if the fed gov would just fuck off and leave us alone when a natural disaster hits. All they ever do is get in the way and make things worse.

Four and a half years ago, in Joplin, we had most of the rescue done and the clean-up started by the time FEMA got here, and they got their noses out of joint when we politely told them so. And the "grants" turned into loans abruptly when we voted against King Putt the next year, then abruptly came due all at once last year when we voted against the preferred party in the midterm elections.

Joplin is (mostly) back on its feet (if you don't count the crap loaded on the city by the crooked city council that used the opportunity afforded by the disaster to line its own pockets), four and a half years after the massive tornado. How long has it been since Hurricane Katrina? I've heard that New Orleans is still a pestilent shithole that needs "help" recovering from that. And this after they had ten times the "help" that Joplin had.

Fed gov helps best by staying away and ignoring the areas hit by disasters. We the people do a far better job of recovering without their "help."

Well well well, look who finally pushed the rock they have been under out of the way.
I was wondering about you the other day.
Nice to see you are still kicking.
