number 3 is a scribenumber 4 is an adjustable molding plane,, Number 5 is a REALLY old valve spring tool, and 6 is an excellent collection of what they used to call "railroad" wrenches.
I'm impressed. I'd have thought Phil at The Vulgar Curmudgeon would have chimed in by now. You got four for four of the ones guessed. Now we still need to identify the first two.
Number 1 is a brace, but I forget why it is made like that. (be cheating if I looked it up) My guess on number 2 is a curling iron. And you should see my tool boxes...
Rats, I got here late. That funky looking brace, kind of like bit driver with speed handles but I have never seen two speed handles on one brace and it is one weird motherfucker. @. WTF do they crimp with that? I was thinking that it was used to stab some kind of fruit and then squeeze it. 3 wood workers scribe/marking tool. 4. I was trying to figure out what kind of wood working tool it was, I was thinking a fancy plane but couldn't see a cutting blade. 5, I missed valve spring, I was thinking adjustable clamp. 6, good old "Monkey wrenches".
I have several with wooden handles that hide the steel inside. Several more that are all steel.
Those in the picture are really old and some look almost home made.
Okay, guess I'll fess up here. I had to look up what freaking kind of brace tat was the first time too! Then I felt like an idiot for not seeing it! Its a CORNER brace. For those many times you need to put hole in a tight spot. (Oh, and Phil: its a woman thing, you crimp HAIR with it! But since my wife figured it out before I did...)
