Holy War has its points...

Okay, if you read my blog, you may know I'm not Christian. I was raised to be; mostly Mormon. And if you can stand them long enough, you'll note they are nothing more than a cult of prima donnas and hierarchical egotists intent on engaging the adoration of their sycophantic following. But I digress.

This wasn't intended to be a post about my personal feelings on any religion. I am not a Christian, but I am spiritual. I realize that sounds all new-agey and shit, but its true. I find peace in the woods, comfort in quiet solitude, and a revitalization interacting with natural things. Maybe I'm more of an anti-societist? I don't know all the answers, and I don't care. I'm still trying to learn most of the questions.

But I do know that Catholic, Baptist, JW, Wicca, heck, even Islam are all supposedly based on a belief in goodness. I say supposedly, because more pain and suffering has been inflicted on persons of all nationalities because of faith in one deity or another than all the political wars combined. And those 'holy' wars have never solved anything. You cannot change a persons faith by force.

But you can change their actions. You can save an American woman and her two American children from being incarcerated, and the mother beaten and killed, by force. This is not a religious matter to me. This is about rights. What we in this community here online believe is the number one reason to limit government and religious influence. We would stand against a 'national' religion as strongly as we do a central government attempting to control us.. Most of us could give a shit about Islam if they didn't try to force their belief on us. Of course that whole killing of non muslims is pretty much a deal breaker too...

So why then are we allowing this incarceration to continue? We hear very little about this from the mainstream media. I personally have heard nothing from our government. But then I wouldn't expect to. Our president is admittedly muslim, our congress cowards who prefer to remain in the lap of luxury their position entitles them to, and 'we the people' are impotent. Collectively, we couldn't get it up if 72 virgins were dancing naked in front of us while getting a blow job at the same time.

It is time for a Holy War. Against one prison, in one small area of one pissant country. If we can send in Seal Team Six to kill OBL, can we not send in a team to rescue an American citizen? But what about the political repercussions, you ask? Fuck em. It used to be the world knew you didn't fuck with America. Now? Not so much. We need to find that streak of American pride and dignity that our government has destroyed. We lay claim to a willingness to give our lives in the cause of freedom, while allowing another's freedom to be taken for the crime of being Christian. We are cowards, and we are hypocrites. We cry 'Let slip the dogs of war' when it comes to our families, but let our neighbors be held in governmental bondage. We proclaim 'I am an American', yet let one of our own languish in a foreign prison, awaiting death. I feel a deep shame in my impotence. In my inability to come to this woman's aid. I always thought that's what we elected officials in Washington to address. It is hard enough to admit the weakness in one's self, but to lose faith in those we elect to protect our freedoms as we watch them take those same freedoms from us is devastating.

But then I just recalled a somewhat similar situation. Benghazi. I guess being an American is no longer what it once was...and we as Americans no longer as resolute in our so-called faith as our forefathers. Keep in mind that your children and grandchildren are going to be asking you the same thing the young boy incarcerated with his mother and new baby sister in Sudan is asking:

I wonder what answer I'll give.

Politcally UNCorrect

From those whiny little Voices In My Head:

How our government works

In Libya, the Pentagon has allotted just over $16 million from a train-and-equip fund to develop two companies of elite troops and their support elements “to counter terrorist and extremist threats in Libya,” according to budget documents. For the aborted training outside Tripoli, the Defense Department also tapped into a classified spending account called Section 1208, devised to aid foreign troops assisting American forces conducting counterterrorism missions.
For Mauritania, about $29 million has been set aside for logistics and surveillance equipment in support of the specialized unit.
For Niger, where the United States launches unarmed surveillance drones to fly over Mali in support of French and United Nations troops, the Pentagon is spending nearly $15 million on the country’s new counterterrorism unit. The funds are part of $39.5 million this year to train and equip the West Africa nation’s army as it struggles to stem a flow of insurgents across Niger’s lightly guarded borders with Mali, Nigeria and Libya.

Did you catch that? We're training 'counter-terrorists' in Libya how to use our strategies to combat terrorists. And the last sentence, where we're training Nigerians to counter Libyans, who we have trained to fight Nigerians...

What the fuck is wrong with our government? Of course none of these training techniques will be taught to the actual terrorists, they are screened very carefully for their loyalty. Like training innocent muslim extremists to fly jets in the US.

I can't begin to fathom spending millions of dollars to train our enemies to fight against us, but our presidents see no issue? Of course, when the 'terrorists' are your own patriotic populace, I guess it lends new meaning to the word enemy.

Why Sharia Law works!

Say you have a deadbeat brother. Constantly borrows money, never pays it back, uses your car to go to bars where he ends up getting pulled over and you have to pay impound to get it back, eats you out of house and home, and even keeps forgetting to flush the toilet!

Enter Sharia law; Stage far left!

You go get some bum on the street to whack him. Then, when the bum goes to trial for murder, you 'forgive' him! He walks, your problems gone, and you're out the cost of a bottle of Ripple.

You know that insurance policy your aging folks left for you to take care of their remains, plus a little extra for your trouble. Here you are in financial straights due to the obamaconomy, and they just keep hanging on! WTF?

Again, our hero, Sharia Law enters; This time riding in from above on a drone.

You make a deal with your buddy, who happens to be in the same dire straights due to obamanomics, and you whack each others parents! When you both go to court for murder, you stand, forgive each other, and then go out for a beer to celebrate! How great is that!?

Not buying it? Read this: http://news.yahoo.com/pakistan-woman-stoned-death-family-marrying-man-she-101415740.html

Yep. Sharia Law. And here we've been dealing with a stupid system that puts murderers in jail all this time.

Sharia Law. Coming to a government near you!

Mrs. X's Post for the Ladies! A tribute to the military on Memorial Day

My Handsome Xenolith, 1981

Memorial Day

As we go into the evening of the last day of our three day weekend, after all the cookouts, beer, time spent with family and friends, lets take a solemn moment to remember our fallen who gave their all to protect those freedoms that we still enjoy today.

Despite our own governments determination to undermine the Constitution, we still have the greatest nation ever to exist on the face of the planet. Let us take a moment while we think back on those we have actually known who have not come back from foreign lands, having been sent there at the whim of a faceless government unconcerned and uncaring of the families needing them here at home. A government that spends the lives of our brave in the endeavor for political gain. What do we gain from these wars on foreign soil? The hatred of those we fight against, and the indifference of those we fight with.
Let us think of these brave soldiers who were brothers, sisters, husbands, and wives for just a few moments now. Let us remember them in honor. These are the ones who at the bequest of an unfeeling government gave their all in the cause of freedom, but usually for other people than their own, while their own families languish under the dictates and tyranny of our current regime.

And now let us take a moment and give a solemn thought to other soldiers who we tend to overlook in our desire to honor those lost in more recent wars. Let us remember those who gave their lives in the war to create this great nation. Those many of the original three percent who perished at the hands of soldiers fighting for tyranny. These too were our brothers. These it were that gave rise to our Constitution, and chose to protect not a foreign ideal, but his own family on his own soil. These men stood and said "enough", and when the tyrannical powers that were would not relent, he stood armed in defiance. And won life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that is every persons right for our ancestors, allowing them to live free. Though it cost him his own life.

Remember our fallen. Those who fight today at the whimsical direction of a commander-in-chief who has never been in harms way nor holds to the ideals of the Constitution, and also to those of our forefathers who gave their all to give us this great country our own government would now destroy.

XenoBabes

Its not only men who have sacrificed for us that we remember today! Lets give some appreciation for the women who have served for us too! Happy Memorial Day, and take a moment to remember our fallen men AND women who have gone before.

Okay, NOW you can look at the pictures:
