  4. No that is a tool for brush clearing called a bill hook. They have been used for several thousand years as both a tool and a weapon.--Ray

  5. My Grandfather had one of those, I know they used them for logging but I'll be damned if I know exactly what their purpose was.
    I'm thinking it's for cutting the limbs off instead of an axe after the tree is down.

  12. You can still buy them at a decent garden shop, or like at Tractor Supply.

    Brush Hook, Bill Hook, Pruning Hook.

    Still a great way to open up body armor. (Medieval body armor that is)
