And how in the name of Ralph Nader is this going to stop the murders like those in Newtown or Columbia? The perpetrators, whether or not you subscribe to the belief of government involvement or not, had legal access to the weapons. What would stop them from having access to the wrist band? Especially if you kill the legal owner (read that 'Mom') first.

Just stop. There will always, yes, always, be those with access to guns, whether legal or not. And the only way to stop bad people with guns is by good people with guns. Would the police give up their guns when they are made illegal for the public? I rather doubt it. And not all of them are all that good either...
