At least not out in the wilds!
I guess when the gubmint decides to show their hand, it won't do you any good in Texas to 'head fer them hills".
For one thing, Texas ain't got a lot of hills to begin with, and another thing is this:
The militarization of the Parks and Wildlife Service!
The unit is made up of 25 highly trained game wardens capable of deploying anywhere in the state of Texas within four hours. Armed with AR-15′s, BDU’s, and kevlar helmets, the team’s mission according to the TPWD website involves border operations, dignitary protection or any form of high-risk law enforcement, such as serving felony arrest warrants or hostage situations.
I'm hoping this is the Texas way of building their own forces up....but it seems like Texas has been going seriously downhill recently.
Rather than secede from the Union, why don't they just kick out Austin?
Having met some of the Wardens here, I'm not impressed. Your average butter bar has more sense, and experience...
ReplyDeleteOkay, this leaves me in an interesting quandary. Do I laugh my ass off because that's just funny, or cry because they are giving these guys AR15's and body armor?
