Its the fact that he is an addict. I know. I'm an addict. Granted, its been twenty years since I practiced my addiction, but without a doubt, if I ever start thinking I'm better somehow, if I ever put myself in the position of using drugs again, I KNOW that it will reduce my world to ashes and everyone in it with me.
Been there, done that. Not proud of it, but I've allowed myself the opportunity to better myself, and help others whenever I get the chance.
But a 'practicing' addict doesn't care. He or she will do whatever it takes to get their next high. They will steal, lie, have sex, commit felonies, ANYTHING for that next fix.
Obama is addicted to power. Limitless and unbridled power. He will lie, steal, commit felonies, probably even have sex with Michelle, or do WHATEVER it takes to feel the high that power feeds him.
He may at one time have cared about being in office and had morals. Granted it's doubtful, but we can be generous and give him the benefit of the doubt. But no more. He now only desires the fix.
And that's exactly what worries me. I was reading an article about this psychomaniac and his newest idea of raising the minimum wage to help the poor. Again, it won't work, but it maintains the illusion he's 'in charge', and therefore has power.
Regardless of the usurper's reasoning, which is solely based on narcissism, the author of the article over at RedState entitled Obama Offers GOP Distractions has one part that sent a shiver down my back:
What we have to realize is that we are dealing with a president who is devoid of integrity or respect for the institutions of United States government. The same can been said for Senator Harry Reid. There is no way you can negotiate with such men. There is no way you can participate in governance with them. You can only oppose them.
The good news is that opposing them is easy. Obamacare will continue as a suppurating wound. Absent a thermonuclear war, Obama’s approval numbers will continue to slide. His lack of integrity is leaving him politically isolated. (Bold mine)
Keep in mind what I said earlier. An addict will do ANYTHING to achieve his high. And those last two sentences scare the shit out of me.
We have an addict in office who revels in his ability to drone people out of existence, lavishly spends money, and deigns to grace the lowly public with his presence, as they bow and kowtow to him in his glory. He lives for the applause. 'Mr DeVille, I'm ready for my close up'.
And having been and worked with addicts, they have to WANT to stop. You can't make them. Remember, the will do ANYTHING to score. And I don't believe our Addict In Chief has any desire to stop abusing his drug of choice. If we as a people do not remove him physically from his office, and hold him accountable for his crimes, he will NOT give it up in 2016. He will NEVER willingly give up his power. Even if he has to nuke someone, or even us, to keep it.
