I know that line originally, "Let them eat cake" referred to the standard flour and salt biscuits the French 'peasants' had while the Royalty dined on rich meats and desserts. But my post title sums it up a little better for these modern times, and in relation to our own self proclaimed royalty.
We struggle for a decent living, and maybe, if we have a good month, get to go out to dinner. No movie, as one must stay in budget, but a nice dinner out, sure. Anyone up for 'Mickey D's'?
