America, the 'Fairy' tale

Once upon a time.....no, wait. Stories like this usually have a happy ending, and are called Fairy Tales. So, let me start again:

Currently in America.... Men are no longer men. If you do choose to be responsible enough to get (and keep) a job, the vast majority of others look down at you for not 'giving in' to "the man" and ridicule you for going out and actually earning what you could get from the government free.

Used to was, a man with a beard and a strong back could make a decent living, and afford the necessities of life, with maybe a little left over for a night out with the wife every month or so. Said wife being of the FEMALE variety. This was an honest life and a matter of pride.
Delbert 'Shorty' Belton, 88
Then, those who depended on this man with the strong back, and willingness to work, learned that manufacturing gizwhigs in other countries was far cheaper in labor costs, and moved all our manufacturing overseas. This too was a GOOD THING. Cheaper gizwhigs meant more money to go out on the town more often, and if you were one who lost your job at the plant, there was still a whole country out there where a man could rebuild. This availability of land also made those who still had any pioneering spirit left capable of living 'the American Dream' pursuing happiness. Self sufficiency and the rewards of your labor being the only requisites to a good life. And having children with a good moral compass pointing toward your example.

Unfortunately, America was also beginning to lose that spark of individuality. Great men like Hoover, Ford, Edison, who dreamed big dreams of a life fulfilled for everyone, created things like vacuums, cars, electricity to make life more comfortable.

And America lost more of her once great spark.

Now, not only did the government step in and provide for those "unable" to support themselves and their progeny, the powers that be began having 'professional' congressmen who spent their every waking moment creating laws and regulations to make Americans safer and more conformed to fit into society. Society being the sybaritic pursuit of pleasure, and unrestrained debauchery common today, with no requirement to earn that 'night on the town'. And our children's compass no longer pointed toward TRUE North.

Government has regulated the entrepeneur out of existence. Fees, fines, codes, commissions, pressure from Big Everything paying for laws that give them every advantage. We have truly become the country with the 'best government money can buy'.

Our ancestors knew that their life was based on their ability to meet the world standing proud and relying on him/herself and those around them. Neighbors helped neighbors and families stuck together. Gone are the days of family farms, shops, craftsmen. People in Small Town America now drive exhausting distances to large businesses that only produce wealth for the business owners. Production in America is only to produce money. Cheaper whizgigs may fall apart after one use, but its OKAY, if it wasn't made to be disposable in the first place, its was always easier to just go buy another. And another. Thereby increasing the large bulge in the back pocket of the Big Everything so they could buy better and better congressmen. For them. People who felt the American Dream of self sufficiency were relegated to the "frontiers" of communities like Williamsburg, VA where they could ply their trade making trinkets for the tourists who looked upon them as "quaint" and of no REAL benefit to society. But proudly buy their 'trinkets' with a feeling of pride for 'keeping our past alive.'

As American men lost their pride due to more regulations and laws that precluded him being a 'man of his own', some of the women in America saw what a disgraced carricature of himself the American man had become, and started treating men with a new disdain.

When did MEN start using body oils? Getting 'groomed' instead of haircuts? Using hand cream so their hands are velvety soft?

My hands have always had callouses. And there are still some MEN out there who will not give in to the pussification of their souls. Who will stand tall and push back when pushed. Men who honor and memorialize our founding fathers for their strength of conviction rather than labelling them as rabble rousing malcontents.

We speak American English, not the Queen's. We wear boots made for a days work, not tennis shoes we are afraid to get dirty because they cost $400.00 dollars to fatten the rich. We are the last American men, not feminized, not 'pretty', not looking for a handout. We are those who go to work, take out the trash, leave the toilet seat up, and wear shorts, or underwear, or skivvies, but will not give up our pride to 'Manties'. We do not live in "Fairy" tales. We live on the strength of our convictions. Examples HERE, HERE, and HERE. And thousands more who stand in defense of our freedoms.

We are the patriots. The malcontents. The Rabble Rousers.

And we are armed.

Molon labe.

From the East Coast to the West, We ARE from III to shining III.
