Hey, necessity is the mother of invention, right? One time I made a clutch handle for my Honda 450 out of a Chevy alternator bracket because those were my only wheels and I was broke.
I had hit a deer on the way to work one day [the deer got up and walked away...after giving me a dirty look}. My brother-in-law put his ford tractor turn signal on my Kia Rio. Then the HP pulled up beside me one day and pointed at my blinker, I turned it on he gave me thumb's up and drove on.
I'm trying to figure out why she's got the Yellow Pages hanging instead of a cookbook.

Trust me, that is just one of many.
If I tried to list all the redneck fixes I've rigged over half a century....and yep, they usually worked....usually...
ReplyDeleteMy college car was 80% Chevy, 20% baling wire and duct tape.
